True Colors Fund (TCF)

The True Colors Fund was co-founded by Cyndi Lauper to raise awareness about and bring an end to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) youth homelessness, and to inspire everyone, especially straight people, to become active participants in the advancement of equality for all. Seeing the need to build a national movement and organization to address LGBT youth homelessness, the True Colors Fund launched the Forty to None Project in 2012.

The Forty to None Project works to bring the number of homeless youth who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender from 40 percent to none by educating and engaging the public, advocating within government and media, creating empowering experiences for these young people, facilitating leading research, and aiding service providers in building their capacity and creating an inclusive environment within their agencies.
